Seattle Central Waterfront
WRT was one of four teams short-listed for the role of lead designer for the Seattle Central Waterfront project. This project includes the demolition of the existing double decker Alaskan Expressway viaduct and the creation of a framework plan and conceptual design for the waterfront and the city interface.
I created several images to be used in WRT's presentation, including a diagram outlining the role of public engagement in the design process, and several collage images suggesting innovative approaches to the reuse of the decommissioned viaduct.
